Created during a month-long illustration challenge, this series pairs insects with their floral environments while giving me the opportunity to explore composition, hand lettering, and colour.
Working with the subjects defined by each challenge prompt, I focused on vibrant, unexpected colours and expressive hand lettering to bring my own visual perspective to each illustration.
The goal was to create a cohesive series where each piece could stand on its own while still feeling part of the same visual ecosystem. The result is a playful and adaptable collection with the versatility to work across a variety of applications.
